Collapse and expand data

How do i collapse and expand data without adding or doing any mathematical
formulae? for example:

- Countries
Nigeria 10
England 20
US 30

Collaspe into:
+ Countries

hi lite the rows then on the menu bar...
format>row>hide.
to "expand"...
hi lite the row above and below the hidden rows then on the menu bar..
format>row>unhide.

Hi,

Suppose your data is in cells A1:B4, one way is to highlight the rows 2:4
and choose the command Data, Group and Outline, Group. Then you can collapse
and expand using the +/- signs that will appear to the left of the column
letters.

An other alternative is to use AutoFilter. Select the same range as above
and choose the command Data, Filter, Auto Filter. Then open up the dropdown
in column A (I am assuming the title Country is in column A) and choose
Custom and from the first drop down pick Contains and in the box to the right
enter 1 and click OK. This will hide all the entries. To redisplay them
open the same drop down and choose All.

You can also do this with a pivot table, but that's a little overkill here.
