Color Bleed

Nancy

How do I get my publication to print all the way to the
edge. I want to have a full page of color but when I print
there's always a white edge. I tried reseting the margins
and that didn't work.

If your printer supports full bleed it will the only way you can be without a border.
Your printer has margin limitations, you will never be able to print beyond them.
What is full bleed?
Full bleed means the ink runs to the very edge of the paper. No printer is actually
full bleed, so during printing process the excess paper is trimmed off resulting in
the "full bleed" professional look. In order to print "full bleed" the ink coverage
must exceed the final print dimensions.

As Mary said, this is a printer limitation. What model of printer are you
using? If you are fortunate enough to own a newer Canon inkjet, then they do
have full bleed capability which Canon calls borderless. How about updating
us with your printer model? You might also want to visit the
comp.periphs.printers newsgroup.
