color discrepancies with tablet pc ink annotations

Hi,

I am using Office 2003 on a tablet PC, and have noticed color discrepancies
when moving word documents (and excel files) between it and office 2002 and
2000. In these documents, I've made drawings and markups using the Ink
Annotations tool bar. Some of the colors appear correct between the
different versions of Office, but other colors come out changed (eg, I have
red, blue, and green drawnings in 2003, but some of the greens come out blue
when in a different version of office). Is there any way I can keep this
from occuring? It's important that the colors remain consistent betweens the
different versions of Office.

Thanks!

As a follow up/addition to this post, it looks like the ink feature on the
Tablet PC occasionally links multiple ink strokes together as one, and
therefore when a file is opened on a different version of office without ink
features, the colors come out for each of those linked strokes come out as
the same color (the first color in the linked strokes that was drawn). So,
now I know about what's going on, but does anyone know a way to work around
this? Thanks!

Hi Erik,

That's certainly a possibility. There are some ink annotations
that carry over in Word, but there are others that don't show
up at all. You may want to also post in the Tablet PC group as
well (link below).
