Color Rules

I applied a color rule to color emails from someone in a
specific color. When the rule is applied for this person,
anyone else that has the same first name also picks up the
rule. For instance if I set up a rule to color email from
Susan Smith in BLUE, emails from Susan Jones also turn
BLUE. Anyone know why?

Its just the regular automatic formatting rule applied
through the organize button. The text of the rule in
automatic formatting just reads the normal... color
messages from Susan Smith...yada yada. I've never seen
outlook do this before, its almost like it wildcards the
first few characters of the first name. However, the rule
is stated for the correct person in automatic formatting
rules dialog box.

What, exactly, is the content of this rule?

What version of Outlook?

If you select the View menu and go to CUrrent View | Customize Current View
| Automatic Formatting | Select Mail Received From Susan Smith | Condition |
Advanced, what is set as the crieria? Is it set for when From contains Susan
Smith or when From is exactly Susan Smith? I'm guessing it's set for
contains. Try modifying this rule so it colors when From is exactly Susan
Smith.
