in version 2000 you need to insert the column where you want it by right
mouse clicking on the column you want to appear on the new column's right
and choosing insert / column (eg if you want category before the indicators
column, right mouse click on the indicators column and choose insert /
column - and insert your column).
in version 2002 and above (i believe it was implemented in 2002) you can
drag columns to where you want them so insert your column anywhere, place
your cursor under the column header, you should see a four headed black
arrow, hold the mouse down and drag the column to where you want it.
alternatively, you can use view / tables / more tables, choose the entry
table (this is the one that has name, duration, start, finish etc columns)
and either copy it and then edit it to have your field (and use that table
instead of the standard entry table, or edit the standard entry table to
have your column. It is always a good idea to create your own tables rather
than editing existing ones.
