combining presentations

A ppt presentation was created on another computer and burned to Cd. I then
opened it on my computer, and added items to the presentation, including
changing the timing on the original presentation. It views OK, but when I
burned the new one to CD the original timings were still present. What
happened to my new timings?

After making the changes, did you save it to your HD and then copy it to a
new CD? Timings are not one of PowerPoint's best features and they do vary
from device to device like Hard Drive and CD drive.
