Combo Box in Dropdown State?

Daer All,

is there any way to get the information from Access,
if the dropdow-list of a combo box ist visible (open) or
not?
I would like to used this information for the navigation
in an endless-form.
The final version should work like a data-table.
If the dropdown list is not open, the up- and down-key
should navigate between the recordsets.
If the dropdown list is open, the keys should navigate
within the list.
