Command-Keys not working in Tiger?

Since upgrading to Tiger, I¹ve only seen one issue if I try to use
command-keys, like Command-R for ³reply² they don¹t work.
I can use the menus fine, and the odd thing is that when I use the
key-commands, the menu ³blinks² like it¹s working...
Has anyone else seen this?

Are you using any other programs that might be causing this? For
example, I've seen this same problem caused by iListen. A restart fixes
it (unless I run iListen again, of course). So I'd say the first step is
to look for something else you're running that might be hacking into
stuff in a skanky way. m.

I was having the same problem when selecting ³Command N² for new mail
message. This was corrected when I did a Entourage auto-update earlier this
week.

Pitch

Yes, I have seen this behavior in Entoruage 2004. I'm running 10.4.1.

I can temporarily get it to go away by trashing the file
com.microsoft.Entourage.prefs.plist (User:Library:preference:
Microsoft), but it reappears after a few days.

I've tried remapping the Command-Return to something else, using
programs such as QuicKeys and UControl, but haven't been able to get it
to work.

After a post last week on this, someone suggested I try it with another
keyboard. I actually went out and purchased a new keyboard (same Apple
OEM) but that didn't correct it either. I've also tried using the other
Command key (right side of spacebar).

One other note: I booted in Safe Mode, but the behavior remained (I'm a
little unclear what Safe Mode does, but there you go).

The only fix I've found is to hit the Command-Return keys 5 or 6 times.
Eventually the message gets sent.

One tap on <cmd>R works for me.
