COMMAND REJECTED on sending Email

This started happening all of a sudden...

ERROR:

5.7.1 <[email protected]>...command rejected

EXPLANATION

Mail Could Not be sent.

Account NameL "akomensky"


ERROR: -17099

I can receive mail, I cannot send it. I have deleted my pop account
and re-created it. I have checked and unchecked authentication boxes
(I use a pop - mac account for email). I have rebuilt the databases.
I dont know what else to do. Any thoughts?

If you can receive but not send then you have a bad SMTP configuration. Be
sure SMTP is typed correctly. It's easy to put STMP.

If this doesn't fix your problem, try creating a new Identity in Entourage.
Create the account and test. If it works, then this indicates problems in
your main identity database.
