"Compact" button for the toolbar, available?

I don't know if it's just me or it isn't available, but it would be
nice to not have to click through to get the compact function to work.
Currently I right-click on "Personal Folders" in the tree and then I
have to click on Advanced, and then "Compact Now".

Can someone tell me where to find this in the commands for
customizing, or the line of VB coding that I can use to make a macro
with and then I'll just make an icon.

You'll have to live with it as is. The buttons and settings on any of the
Outlook property pages aren't exposed to code or the menu customizations.

Why worry about it? MS's articles state that Outlook automatically compacts
periodically for you anyway.
