I have an access database that is over 1 gig, so I decided to investigate
compacting in order to stay away from the 2 gig limit. It works great, and
my data is under 300megs now, but I am finding a weird issue. The columns in
one of my tables have reversed themselves. The table has 2 integers as the
key, and 2 text fields as data. After running the compact utility, I
discovered that the 2 text fields reversed... wrong data in wrong column.
Has anyone else had weird problems like this with compacting?
