(Using Access 2003)
There was a number of previous posts that were discussing compacting but
sadly they are no longer available to be viewed. So I pose the question:
With autonumbered fields, if records have been created (dummy records) and
the numbering should restart again, I can normally force this by using
Compact & Repair option. (Note: The reuse of previous numbers is not a
concern here).
I have found that I have tried that recently (newly reinstalled version of
Office) and this function is not working as described above.
Any information?
