Company log does not appear on webpage

I created a webpage in Front Page 2003 that is mostly text with one jpg
insert of our company logo. Basically this web page is a warning page that
displays when users try to access "illegal" websites are then redirected to
this warning page. Everything works fine with the exception that the jpg
logo is not displayed. All you see is a blank box with a red X in the
corner. The format of course is .htm. Is this an IE settings or do I need to
use a different format for the image to be displayed?
Thanks

You may have the page set up in such a way that the image requires an
absolute URL, not relative.

Hi Tom and thanks for the input. However I'm lost in your words. All this is
a the default.htm homepage that is edited with just text. I insert the
company logo which is .jpg format and save the page. Everything looks fine
in FrontPage just the way I want my users to see it when the page is
accessed. So I'm not sure why you say it needs an absolute url as I am not
trying to redirect them with this logo insert.

Okay.

Did you *import* the image into a folder in your open FP web from it's
location on your hard drive before inserting on the page and saving?

Here is exactly what I did. I created the website first in IIS. Used FP to
open the website and of course it opened the default homepage. I added my
text and inserted the company logo (that was saved on my desktop) on the
page where I wanted it. Saved the file and closed FP.

How do you redirect from the illegal webpage? The method of redirection
may need an absolute link to images in the warning page.

For example, I have an error 404 page that needs absolute links.
When a user goes to a non-exististant page
(http://example.com/folder/brokenPage.htm ), the error page displays with a
URL
http://example.com/folder/brokenPage.htm, whereas the error page is
actually at
http://example.com/error404.htm
The path difference means that all links from the error page have to be
absolute.

I use ISA 2004 rules that redirects "Blocked Websites" to another website.
Everything is displayed on the homepage. Works fine now that I converted the
company logo from .jpg to .gif. Thanks for the input.
