compare baseline

"How can I compare the current plan against a specific baseline or 2
different baselines to each other?"

I fielded this question earlier today and don't have an idea of best
practice. Whenever I'm interested in baselines, I simply put the
baseline column (start, finish, work, etc.) into a view. I usually use
the Gantt chart view. That has always been sufficient for me.

What is best/recommended practice?

Thanks!

I create new Views (via View, More Views) and new tables (via View, Tables:,
More Tables) and make sure my new table is selected for my new view. That
way I just swap views to see the information and format that best
communicates what I want to see or report.
