Compile and print catalogue in Office from data source in Excel

I require to compile a data source in Office and then produce and print a
catalogue which will contain various fields from the 200 + records in the
data source in two or three different tables. The catalogue has to be A5
size (A4 landscape printed as two pages) and will run to several pages and
will have to be capable of being updated on a regular basis.

I am therefore looking for two Office programmes that will link or merge and
if possible print the pages in a ‘book’ format for easy compilation i.e.
front and back cover would be printed together.

Any ideas greatly received.

Thanks, it is Office 2000 I am using but it looks like I can do a merge there
as well.
