Compile Error

I seem to be getting a VBA error in Office due to some
kind of conflict with my RAV AntiVirus. I can neither
Save nor Save As. The only way to save a file is to close
the window. The error message I get is ...

Microsoft Visual Basic

Compile error in hidden module. Main.

It also comes up every time I open Word or Access or
Excel.

I've tried all the suggestions from the knowledge base,
including upgrading Adobe Acrobat. HELP!

There is a new entry in the Knowledge Base that solved
this problem. Thanks Microsoft! :) Microsoft Knowledge

I received a very similar error when doing a save as.
Turn out it was not my Norton Antivirus nor Adobe Acrobat
as suggested in another post. It was a conflict with a
Word utility program - Woodys WOPR - that came with a Que
book about MS Office. I didn't previously have the
problem when running Office 2k on Win98SE, but problem did
start after upgrading OS to Win2k.

I would suggest double checking any system changes or
software additions somewhere in the time proximity of the
problem first occurrance.

Good Luck.
