complete failure

For some reason, Entourage randomly stopped working with my Exchange
program. Everytime I tried to fix that, it messed up the settings with
my POP mail account. In desperation, I deleted both accounts to try to
start fresh, and now Entourage isn't working at all! Anytime I try to
add a new account (one of the two I deleted), an error message pops up
and Entourage shuts down. Any ideas?

Now it's not even giving me an error message. I go through the process
of adding a new account, and Entourage stays working forever. I
eventually have to "force quit" because it won't do anything and I
can't even get it to close by itself.

Briana:

Try creating a new account on your machine (via the OS, not in
Entourage). Then log in to that account, run Entourage, and set up your
mail accounts there. If it works, the problem is with your account, and
we can start from there. If not, you'll most likely need to manually
remove Office and reinstall the whole shebang.

You would create a new user account and login name for your computer. Apple
Menu/System Preferences, click on Accounts, and the little plus sign at the
bottom lets you create a new user account.

Mac Help re user account would offer more.
