complicated share of market

hi, all,
i have a looong product list where each product has plenty of varietes
I have a Grand Total of all the products as well. I need a formula whic
calculates the share of each variety of the product compared to th
total quantity of this same product AND the share of each produc
compared to the Grand Total

is there a formula like this ?

Yes there is. But you must give some info on how your data
is structured. Are there product codes where the prefix
indicates the overall category and the suffix the sub-
product? Do you have the data in two columns?
