Composing an email on Entourage

I'm new to Entourage 2004 and have noticed that when composing an
email and using an abbreviation like L.A., it automatically
capitalizes the letter following the period after L.A. How can I
disable this feature and do my caps manually? Many thanks for anyone
who can advise me on this.

Look under Tools | AutoCorrect.

Cmd-z used immediately after will also Undo the correction if most of
the time you want the auto-features.

Go to Tools -> AutoCorrect. Uncheck "Capitalize first letter of sentences".
