Composing emails in Entourage

I am trying to create a HTML formatted email and everytime I type out a
sentence and hit return to go to the next line Entourage reverts my fonts
and font sizes back to size 14 and the default font. This is painfully
annoying. How can this be fixed? Thanks..

I've never heard of anyone having this problem and I've verified in
Entourage 2008 that this works as expected. This may have been the
behavior in Entourage 2004, but I can't tell you with certainty.
