Compuserve

I cannot get Entourage 2004 to collect e-mail from my compuserve account.
All the settings from Entourage X transferred perfectly except this one.
What do I need to change to be able to collect Compuserve mail?

Entourage 2004 no longer supports RPA POP3 authentication, which is what
previous versions of Entourage depended upon for Compuserve access to work.

Connecting via IMAP should allow you to access your Compuserve mail account
in Entourage 2004. There is some documentation here:
EmailCommunication&FID=1594&FVF=1/.TXT>

Go to Tools -> Accounts to set up your account. Click the "New" button, and
choose "IMAP" as the account type. If you instead see the Assistant, click
the "Configure account manually" button. Here are the settings as they are
published at the time of this writing:

Account Type: IMAP
Name: Your Name
E-Mail Address: Your E-Mail Addresss
Account ID: Your Screen Name (E-mail Address before the @)
Receiving mail (IMAP) server: imap.cs.com
Password: Your Password
Sending mail (SMTP) server: smtp.cs.com
Advanced Sending Options
ˆ SMTP server requires authentication
ˆ Use same settings as incoming mail server

Are you using POP or IMAP?

Entourage 2004 does not support RPA POP3 authentication, which
CompuServe uses. (Entourage X apparently did.)

There is no workaround, as CompuServe is trying to migrate their users
to IMAP.
