Concordance Indexing

I built and used a Concordance Index for my genealogical volume using Word
97. I cannot figure out why [after buying Office 2007] Word 2007 will not
enable me to add an Index to my 400 page volume like I did before. I read the
article on this site where the MVP said to manually enter the several hundred
names as the "simple" way versus a Concordance Index. How can I use the
"hard" Concordance Index method with Word 2007? Thanks
