Concurrent sessions on Server connect

Hi group. This has me banging my head against a wall.

The problem is this. Outlook 2003 (IMO mode) running on Citrix
connecting to a Debian Linux mail server. All runs great. However,
when Outlook comes across an email with an attachment, it hangs and
eventually dies a death. The error in event log ID is 1000 and the
text is:

Faulting application outlook.exe, version 11.0.6353.0, stamp 408f2937,
faulting module pstprx32.dll, version 11.0.6254.0, stamp 4050a0c7,
debug? 0, fault address 0x00023a1f

Normal Outlook users run fine so this is a Citrix or Tterminal
Services/Outlook issue.

If I run Outlook in Terminal Services from the desktop I still have
this problem so I do not believe it to be Citrix alone.

The mail server admin believes that it is because Outlook is opening
too many concurrent sessions to the server at once. When I look at the
Send/Receive progress, Outlook is downloading and uploading at the same
time, so one of my questions is this: Is there a way to force outlook
to only do one job at a time?

I have run SCANPST on the PST files but this makes no change. I have
recreated mailboxes and profiles on the server but this does not work.

Has anybody else seen this or know how to fix it?

Help!
Steve
