I wish to set conditions that allow colour coding of various temperature
ranges throughout the year but I do not want the colour coding unless I have
entered the actual temperature for the date.
Hence, I have a table of 365 days, all blank. If I enter a temperature for
today I want to colour code the cell using conditional formatting such as
red if the temperature is above 20 degrees and blue if below freezing. All
that is easy, but how do I get the same conditional formatting to enter blue
for a temperature of zero. When I set the conditions for no formatting
unless there is an entry, Excel assumes the temperature is zero and sets all
unused cells to blue. How do I set up the correct condition to only select
blue if I enter the figure zero in the cell - I want a blank cell to remain
blank.
Thanks.
