Conduit/ Palm problem

Using OS10.3.7 and a Palm T5. Until I had to restart the handheld, due to a
battery charging problem, all was right with the world. I was able to sync
all work and contacts. Now, I can not sync and I can not download Entourage
contacts to handheld, as the choice in Conduit settings are grayed out. I
am not able to get the conduit to allow powerbook to overwrite handheld to
get contacts on to Palm. Is there a way to unlock settings? I have fixed
permissions and restarted and I am at a loss as to what to do next- hope
someone has an solution . Thank you-Jeremy
