Configue at Start Up

I have recently loaded Office 2003 and Visio 2003 onto a new machine.
Everytime the machine is started I get a message to the effect that Office
is being configured then the same message but for Visio. I didn't get these
message when the software was loaded onto my previous machine. What is the
problem and how do I stop these messages which are a source of annoyance?
