Configure outgoing smtp in .mac entourage mail

I use entourage to check my .mac mail but it wont let me send any mail
because of some server error (it doesnt ciommunicate with it or find
it!!)

what can i do to rememdy this??

Marc,
I recently had the same problem. Depending on your ISP you may have to
change the SMTP server for the account in Entourage. For example, when
I use smtp.mac.com Entourage gets the can't find server message. I use
charter internet, so I switched my smtp to smtp.charter.net and have
not had a problem since. Try to switch your SMTP settings to that of
your internet service provider. Good Luck.
