confirmation of a read message

i am trying to figure out if entourage 2004 for mac has the ability to
allow me to notify me when a message i have sent is actually read.

if so, how do i make this happen?

From Entourage MVPS Help Page:

Go to Tools -> Accounts.
Under the Mail tab, edit the mail account you want to send from.
Click the Options tab.
Under "Additional Headers", add in a new header:
Disposition-Notification-To
Under Value, type your e-mail address.
