Confused about entourage 2001 and outlook 2001 for mac? Which to use with exchange?

I have several users who now are experiencing problems when opening their
outlook 2001 for macintosh application. I know they have office 2001 loaded
but my question is which email client is better for exchange environment?
Outlook 2001 or Entourage 2001?

Outlook. Entourage only works with Exchange in the Entourage X
version, and then only if it's been upgraded with the patch from the
Mactopia site. Even then some users have trouble, like me - I can't
access my Global Address Book, period.

If you are running OS 9.2 I would use Outlook 2001 in an
exchange enviroment. I don't like the way entourage X runs
on OSX. It downloads everything local, I've been having
issues sending emails outside our company with Entourage.
I wish they could have just release Outlook for OSX
instead. I've been having to involved the IT staff on the
configuration of Entourage and they are all PC guys and
ask why I need it.

That's my two cents worth.
