I run an Outlook 2000 client on W2K - I connect to an Exchange server - I
connect over a DSL line via a router - I need to also go through a VPN to
get to the corporate Exchange server. The W2K machine previously
authenticated in to a Domain, but since I always work remotely and can't
always get to the domain, I changed the network identification properties to
be a member of my router workgroup versus the domain - since then, I've seen
a dramatic decrease in responsiveness between the Exchange server and my
Outlook client - I can connect and send\receive mail, but it's very s-l-o-w.
I can't change back to a domain authentication, cause there's a problem with
the domain seeing me as a VPN user. Any suggestions? Thanks, experts!
