connecting users of entourage to exchange server

We have set up a new exchange server. Our Mac users use entourage 2004
as their e-mail client. They were set up and receiving mail with no
problems from our old e-mail server. When we moved their mailboxes to
the new exchange server they could no longer get messages. I thought
that I just needed to manually configure them to point to the new
exchange server. But after I did this an error message came up that
said that entourage could not find the exchange server. I tried using
the exchnge server's IP address. WHile I believe that entourage found
the server it came back with an access denied error.

How do I need to configure entourage to see the new exchange server and
operate properly. Do I need to set up a new e-mail account in
entourage or can I do something else.
