Connecting your email server to entourage

We have been beating around the bush to get help to hook up our telus email on to microsoft entourage. It will not recognize the telus server. We would like any assistance possible. We have called Telus, and explained that the server does work, who then told us to call apple help to maybe change our settings, who told us we need to pay $200 for phone support for 3 years, because it was a temporary thing, and it has expired. We are at a dead end. Help please?

Waht kind of server does Telus use?? POP or IMAP??


From one of the pages I found on google it looks like they offer both
and their settings are on the page:

By the way, I find extremely lame from any company offering basinc
e-mail hosting to say "call Apple"
A mail server is a mail server and for somethign as simple as a POP or
IMAP server like that, they could just tell you what the settings should
be. It's the same on a Mac or a PC :-<

We have the same issue with shaw server (both Telus and Shaw are in Canada). Additionally, asuming that an update may solve the problem, I hve tried to updatee my version of Office 2004 adn get an error message that it cannot find the files to update.

Any suggestions

Thank you Corentin. I tried the pop server and it still did not work. I have just changed it to IMAP and now it registers our telus email. Thank you so much. One shouldn't have to pay $200 just to have that explained to me. Thank you
