Since installing XP SP2.
Outlook Express works fine with multiple POP accounts - reading messages as
expected (I always have the - 'leave on server flag' ON and leave message
there
indefinitely).
BUT - Oultook 2003 just 'thrashes', reloading the entire book of messages
for each account I have - everytime you hit the 'send/receive' button - or
when you log back in or after restarting the machine. I'm on cable - no
timeouts.
I had to abandon O2003 and revert to OE - this seems like a definite bug!
I've used POP readers for years and it seems O2003 is not keeping track
of loaded message IDs properly.
Have others had this problem?
Any help from Microsoft??
