Contact crashes entourage! help!

Hello,

I have a contact in my entourage address book that crashes my computer
every time I try to open it. I have tried deleting the contact itself
several times, and it will not let me delete the contact. I thought
maybe it was a virus, but I ran a scanner and it came up
emptied-handed.
Any ideas as to what this is and how to fix it?

If you are pretty sure that the crashes are related to a corrupted contact,
try to deactivate the preview pane in the address book, then delete the
contact. If the problem is indeed related to the contact, Entourage will
automatically try to display it in the preview pane when you select it,
which might explain why the app crashes whenever you try to delete it.
