We use OL2003 on Exchange 2003.
A user has a public folder hosting contacts, from that public folder she has
subfolders containing distribution lists collated from the contacts public
folder.
The problem is that all the data from the email fields have disappeared in
that contact public folder however the distribution lists have retained their
email information (but if user updates they then become blank as you would
expect). No updates or patches have been run on the Exchange server.
What underlying causes may delete data from the email (or any) field in a
contact? Any thoughts on this would be gratefully received
