contact item in public folder

hi,

i have create a new contact item in public folder, for convienency, i would
like to add the new contact item into my default contacts folder view. (as in
outlook 2003, there are these few buttons at the left bottom of the
interface. when you click in contacts, you can have "my contacts, other
contacts tab,...currnet views.)

thanks in advance for the solution.

thanks for your reply but unfortunately, it's the other way round. i have
create the contact item in the public folder and i would like to have kind of
shortcut link appearing in my default contacts folder view. so i don't have
to go to public folder and go to the sub folders of the public folder.

You appeared to ask about how to have a link to that publis folder appear in the navigation pane ("there are these few buttons at the left bottom"). The procedure I suggested will allow you to do that.

If you want a contact to appear in your default Contacts folder, however, you must create or copy it there. Each folder displays only the items in contains.
