Hello all...
I'm a Net Admin for an Arch and Eng firm. One of my directors is
having an issue with his Outlook 2000 settings and I'm hoping for a
little guidance.
When sending a new email he clicks on the TO button to display his
Contacts list. He has hundreds in that list so he prefers to type in
the first few characters of the last name and let Outlook find the name
for him. The listing, however, does not show everyone by last name
first although it does show everyone alphabetically (sometimes by first
name, sometimes by last name and even sometimes by company name).
Checking random names in that list by looking at the actual CONTACT
card for that person will show FULL NAME First Name Last Name and
DISPLAY AS Last Name, First Name.
Yet that same person will display First Name Last Name in the TO field
pull down list.
Is there ANY method to ensure that the TO field pull down list is
sorted one way or another?
(Did this discription of my problem even make sense??)
