Contacts cached but not visible

After deleting an Exchnaeg account but moving my contacts to a new location,
some do not show up but can be found using Google destop as 'cached' with an
old date. Can I recover these?

You'll have to state what you mean by "moving my contacts to a new location".
Exactly what did you do? What version of Outlook?

Outlook 2007 - I copied my contacts o a CSV file from the Exchnage account,
then copied them back into a local e-mail account. Then deleted the Exchange
account

Exporting is a poor choice. Some things just don't survive an export/import.
You would have been better off creating a PST and copying the Contacts folder
(and any other folder you wanted to save) to that PST, then transferring the
PST. Even now you may be able to do that by using a system restore point from
a date prior to when you deleted the Exchange account.
..
Are you saying that when you open your Contacts folder you don't see all the
contacts you imported or that when you open the Address Book interface that
you don't see them?
