Contacts file as not working

I have contacts in outlook 2003, but when I select to view by the file as the
contacts show as being blank. If I view by company name it works, but the
contacts with no company name show as being blank.

There is no "By File As" view of contacts. If you haven't created any custom
views, start Outlook once with the /cleanviews command procedure. Start>Run
(or Search)>outlook.exe /cleanviews . Be sure to include the space after
".exe".
