Contacts file won't show subfolders

I'm using Outlook 2002 and have organized my contacts
into several subfolders of the contactcs folder. When I
wnt to select a contact for an e-mail i only get the 5
contacts taht I left in the main contact folder but none
of the subfolders. How do I correct this?

Enable the subfolders as email address books. R click > Properties.
