contacts from Public Folders

We run a primarily PC environment with and Exchange Server. However, we
have 3 Mac's in the office running Entourage.

We keep project contact lists under Public Folders. On a PC with Outlook,
we can right-click it and add it to our Address Book.

Is there a way to do this in Entourage? In the new version by chance?

How about making multiple contacts folders in Entourage?

I guess I am looking for some of that good ole' Outlook functionality.

You would expect this function belongs in an application that sells itself
as having Exchange functionality. Currently all we can do is copy all our
public addresses to each user's contacts folder, and make sure that when
someone adds a contact we distribute it to all users. I imagine this does
mean the database on the server becomes 11 times the initial size, since we
are 11 users?

Looking forward to better integration, can we get Public folders and shared
Calendars sorted out in the next update, please?

I agree. I found it quite interesting that a number of features were
removed from the supposed "upgrade" from Outlook to Entourage on a Mac.

Who's calling it an upgrade? Not Microsoft. It's a different app. It offers
different features, many of which are better than Outlook 2001's, but not
Exchange features. Outlook 2001 was built to be an Exchange-only ported from
Outlook 2000, so it's not surprising it behaves more like Outlook 2000. The
chief reason why people seem to want to switch to Entourage is because they
don't like the look of Classic any more - an aesthetic thing. In Panther,
Classic works very well indeed. So if you still like the Exchange features
of Outlook 2001 over the other features of Entourage, stick with Outlook
2001 in Classic.
