Contacts Imported from Outlook Express

The Contact list appears to have been imported
successfully however, when I attempt to set up an email to
one of these contacts, the list appears in the new mail
address box and cannot be transferred to the "To" or bcc
side of the dialog box setting up the email.

How can this happen?

You must not have configured your Outlook Address Book.
We could help you do that if you had posted your Outlook version.
