contacts missing after moving from OE to Outlook2003

All the mail moved fine , but I cannot locate the contact/addresses
from the migration. I started in OE, selected 'mail & addresses',moved
the store to a new location, closed & reopened the program, then used
the 'import& export'from Outlook to bring in the OE folders.
But I cannot find the addresses? Where'd they go? I'm coming up empty.
Also if helpful the original OE exists on the same machine under a
no-longer used profile (pre-server)

Did they end up in Outlook's Contacts folder? Do the items still show in
Outlook Express?

They are not in Outlook contacts, not in address book. I'm concerned
about recreating the old profile and getting the mail messed up. I can
see a .wab folder in the old profile, but I cannot figure out how to
move it into Outlook. Any ideas?

are the contacts visible if you open the windows address book?

why yes they are. I can see them,,now to get them moved?

case closed...I was able to drag & drop the contacts from the >wab into
contacts in outlook
