Contacts: sales tracking

I am in sales and keep my contacts in db form in Outlook.
I would like to track their future sales needs on
a "timeline" (in other words by the quarter or month in
which they may purchase). Is there a way to do this by
contact with current capabilities of Outlook?

Take a look at the new Outlook 2003 with Business Contact Manager. It should
do everything you are looking for.
