Controling a PPT file from within an embedded SWF

Ummm, if you embed a SWF, then it is being control by PPT isn't it?

I would like to be able to click a button in the embedded SWF file and be
able to control the parent PPT environment. For example, click a button that
would command the PPT file to got to another slide.

It could be done, witha good bit of visual basic code. But no, neither SWF
or PPT has a way to do this natively.
