Controlling the size of a webpage window

Valerie

Hi.

I would like to add a link to one of my webpages that
contains a definition of a term. When you click on the
link, I'd like a new window to open that contains the
definition and a close button. I've created the page,
with the definition and the button, but if possible - I'd
like to control the SIZE of the window (i.e. make it very
small vs. the same size as all my other windows). I see
this a lot, is it possible to do in FrontPage 2002?

I'm already embarressed if this is a basic function that
I'm unaware of and would appreciate any help.

Thank you (in advance).

Try Spawn from Jimco Addins.

Hi Steve,

I've tried it.

1. I highlight existing link
2. I launch Spawn (Tools, Jimco Add Ins, Spawn)
3. I put the URL of the 'definition' that I want to
display when the link is selected in the enter URL box,
name the popup

Save my webpage and test it live and it doesnt' work, it
simply opens the URL in a new window - same size.

Am I doing something wrong?

Many thanks.

There is a panel or feature in spawn to set the size of the new window.
