Convert Act! database to Entourage

I have used Act! for 15 years and want to convert the data base to Entourage.
I have no idea how to do it. Can anyone give me some help on this? Jack. L.

I'm not familiar with ACT!. Can you export your ACT! Messages as MBOX files?
If yes, then drag those MBOX files into Entourage's folder window.

Another option is to upload those messages to a server and download into
Entourage.

Thank you Diane. I do not know what a MBOX file is. I can expost the data in a comma delimited form. Would that work?

It would work for contacts. Your messages will be in a different format. If
you drag a message to the desktop, what kind of file is created? It's
possible they can be converted to MBOX.

When you say, "upload the files to a server" what do you mean?

Your ISP is the server for your mail, or if you have a work account your
mail is stored on your exchange server.

For home users: Depending on the size limits, you can upload your mail back
to the server using an IMAP account. I don't know how ACT! Works so can't
advise.
