Convertin MDB 97 to 2000, How without error?

The error suggests there is a problem with references, e.g. the A97 file may
have referred to a library or ActiveX control that you do not have on your
A2000 machine.

Press Ctrl+G to open the Immediate window.
Choose References on the Tools menu.
Look for anything marked "MISSING".

Ingrid,
You probably have some kind of problem with your references. Make sure there are not any missing or broken ones.
