Converting a date/time field to just a date

Is there a way to easily change a date/time field to just
the date? I have a workbook with over 50,000 records and
do not want to go in and manually change each record.
Example: 08/31/2004 12:51:35 PM to 08/31/2004

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Hi

Only to display them as dates, format as "mm/dd/yyyy".
To convert them really, p.e. for datetime in cell A2 use the formula
=INT(A2)
