Converting from Entourage X to a PC with Outlook

I'm converting to PC from Mac.

Is there a way to import an Entourage X database into Outlook?

You want to import Entourage data into Outlook? Wouldn't that mean you
are actually converting from Mac to PC then? Are you sure you don't
mean the other way around: import Outlook data into Entourage?

I've been a Mac person since the 512k. The last two I've had have died
far too quickly, and I can't afford replacing the last one. So, I'm
borrowing a PC from work until I can get another Mac. So, I need to
pull the mail, contacts, etc. from Entourage into Outlook.

I'll be back on a Mac as soon as I can.

Sorry about that - I completely transposed what you wrote to mean you
were doing the opposite. : )

Ok anyway, I have seen a hint recently at Mac OS X Hints that described
at least one way of doing what you want:
